Day 1: Arrival Siem Reap. O/n in Siem Reap
Am: Depending on your arrival Flight time, our tour guide and driver will welcome you at Siem Reap Airport with welcome sign: “Eco Nature Travel” then you will be transferred direct to check in at hotel (room may ready at noon).
Pm: This afternoon, head out to the early-Angkor era temples of the Rolous Group, about 15km outside of Siem Reap. Rolous is the site of the first town built by the Angkorian kings in the 8th and 9th century and consists of three main temples: Bakong, Lolei and PreahKo. The beautiful surrounding countryside with its paddy fields and sugar palm trees is very typical for Cambodia – enjoy the beauty on a cow cart ride to Rolous Pagoda, a great and fun way to get in touch with rural Cambodia and its friendly people. Evening, enjoy buffet dinner with Cambodian Cultural Show at Amazon Angkor. Overnight at hotel
Day 2: Angkor Temple Tours. O/n in Siem Reap
Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, visit the jungle of Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location to film the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Begin tour to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Have lunch at the restaurant.
Pm: Afternoon, explore Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Last but not least, view a wonderful sunset from Angkor Wat or somewhere possible. Free to have your own dinner. Overnight at hotel
Day 3: Siem Reap – BanteaySrei – Departure
Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, we drive out (35 km) to visit the enchanting temple of the BanteaySrei (Citadel of Women), nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carving. On the way back stop at Pradark Village, where you will see the villagers making palm sugar, handicraft for selling to tourist. It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life. If time permitted, visit Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Have lunch at the restaurant. Then go back to hotel
Pm: Free time until your departure Flight time, transfer to Siem Reap International airport for boarding home sweet home or next destination.
